Nestled in the lush landscape of Moreno Valley, California, the Miracle Garden by Leidis became the centerpiece of a two-day floral design workshop hosted by Jimena Garduño, the creative force behind FLOWERIIZE. This inspirational bridal shoot celebrated sustainable floral artistry, Latin creativity, and an exquisite blend of design and nature.
Idea Behind the Shoot
The goal was to provide a nurturing and creative space for students to explore their own floral styles. The Miracle Garden venue, once a warehouse zone, is now a verdant haven. Owner Adisleidys Arencibia transformed it into an event venue where nature takes center stage, making it an ideal backdrop for FLOWERIIZE’s vision of merging refined floral designs with sustainability.
“Students learned how to design a bridal bouquet, a reception inspired centerpiece and a large floral installation inspired in a real ceremony, all floral foam free."

Bride’s Look
The bride’s look was a vision of understated elegance, designed to let the florals shine. The gown, crafted by Mexican bridal house Va de Blanco, featured sleek, clean lines that embodied timeless simplicity. The delicate veil and minimal accessories complemented the dress perfectly, keeping the focus on the vibrant bouquet she carried. The design intentionally created a harmonious balance, allowing the flowers to take center stage as the true stars of this bridal shoot.
“The intention was that the dress had a clean look and line so the flowers would showcase and be the main character."

The bride gracefully walked through the lush gardens of the Miracle Garden, pausing by a vintage car that was adorned with a cascade of fresh flowers. The arrangement featured bold dahlias, soft blush roses, deep red ranunculus, and touches of delicate greenery, creating a striking yet harmonious design.
For the beauty styling, the model wore a polished updo that added sophistication to her look. The soft, radiant makeup enhanced her natural beauty, with a subtle glow that paired effortlessly with the ethereal charm of the gown. Every element of her look was thoughtfully curated to create a seamless blend of modern elegance and romantic inspiration, reflecting florist’s vision for a refined bridal aesthetic.
Floral Arch
The centerpiece of this stunning setup was the breathtaking floral arch, a masterpiece of design featuring dahlias, hydrangeas, roses, and eucalyptus. What made it truly unique was how it didn’t just end at the arch—it extended down the sides of the aisle, creating a lush pathway of blooms. This cascading effect drew the eye and provided the perfect frame for capturing stunning portraits of the bride, adding depth and elegance to every shot.
“Finishing with the set up of what simulates a real wedding, the model was pictured by the ceremony arch with the bridal bouquet."

Table Setup
The table setup was a harmonious blend of textures, colors, and artisanal elements that reflected the thoughtful creativity behind the workshop. FLOWERIIZE collaborated with Cat Ceramics to create custom pale pink ceramic bowls exclusively for the event. These were paired with artisanal Mexican candles, flown in to add a unique touch, and complemented by stylish rentals provided by the venue.
“The table styling included the prettiest ceramic bowls designed for the workshop in a custom pale pink and artisanal Mexican candles."

The students dined at the very table they helped create, making the experience both interactive and memorable. Despite the warm weather in October, everyone stayed refreshed with cold beverages and aguas frescas. “All catering and finger food was provided by the kitchen at the garden, as Miracle Garden by Adisleidys had its own catering, as well as its own rentals,” Jimena noted.
Florist’s Mastery
From the flowing ceremony arch adorned with premium florals to the intricate table designs, the arrangements were a testament to Jimena’s artistry. For this shoot, dahlias—her favorite flower—featured prominently, accompanied by florals sourced from Ramirez Wholesale and The Original LA Flower Market.
“I remember the excitement of getting to work with specialty cut flowers and rare varieties, and I wanted to create the same memorable experience for the students.”

Attended by a group of Latin creatives within the wedding industry, the workshop offered a bilingual and inclusive learning environment. “The flowers were unlimited for students to feel free and comfortable,” says Jimena. The workshop fostered creativity, providing a space for participants to experiment freely while embracing the vibrant and collaborative spirit of the event. It was an immersive experience that combined learning with celebration.
“Creativity and designing can only happen when you feel free and comfortable, never being afraid of using too many flowers, especially when learning!”

Stunning Photography
The colorful photos captured during the workshop brought the entire vision to life. Xico Gutierrez, a talented photographer and close collaborator of Jimena, perfectly documented the intricate details of the floral arrangements, the bride’s elegant look, and the vibrant energy of the workshop. Each image highlighted the seamless integration of nature and design, from the cascading floral arch to the vibrant table setup.
