At WedVibes, we’re always drawn to the stories behind the aesthetics—the vision boards, voice notes, and late-night Pinterest scrolls that quietly shape iconic wedding moments. So, we did what we do best: reached out to real brides who are planning weddings their way. From spontaneous proposals to guest lists made on Google Docs, these brides are rewriting the rules and curating celebrations that feel less like tradition and more like self-expression.
In this series, they open up about the moodboards they can’t stop tweaking, the TikTok trends they’re into, and the vendors who just get it. Expect real love stories, real planning highs (and lows), and plenty of inspiration for your own “main character” moment.
Meet The Couple
Cristian is from Ibiza and works as an entrepreneur. Coral, originally from Girona, is also an entrepreneur and a content creator. They both share a love for traveling and spending time in nature. They also have a dog, Nala, a beloved and inseparable part of their family.
How did you meet?
“We met nine years ago in Ibiza. I was visiting the island with my best friend, and I met him in a bar,” shared Coral. “Cristian is very athletic and never goes out partying or drinks alcohol. That night, he went out only to accompany a friend, and it happened to be the only night he went out that entire summer, so meeting each other truly felt like a miracle.”
The Proposal
Cristian and I have traveled to many countries, but two places are especially meaningful to us: Indonesia and Switzerland. There’s something magical about both — we love their nature and the energy of those places.
In September, we traveled to Switzerland for the second time, and Cristian proposed in Unterschächen, a small mountain village in the Swiss Alps that has kept its original essence. To me, it’s the most beautiful village in Switzerland. The Stäubifall waterfall looks like something out of a fairy tale.
I absolutely wasn’t expecting Cristian to propose at that moment. It was intimate — just the two of us — and it was beautiful and incredibly romantic. I always say that my proposal felt like a real-life fairy tale, because that’s exactly how it felt to me.
The Wedding Vision
1. When and where is your wedding taking place?
We’re getting married in Ibiza, in a small traditional Ibicencan church. We met in Ibiza, and it’s where our love story began. It’s also an incredibly beautiful island for a wedding. We’ll be getting married in October, when the island isn’t as crowded, which makes it even more special. We also want all my family to get to know the island, and this felt like the perfect opportunity.
2. Describe your wedding in 3 words.
Pure, natural, and intimate.
3. What are three non-negotiable elements for your big day?
It’s very important for me to be close to the sea while also being surrounded by greenery, and I think we’ve achieved that balance.
The ceremony will take place very close to the sea, and the reception will be surrounded by nature and flowers.
It’s also essential for me that Nala can be with us at some point during the day, which is why we chose a pet-friendly venue for the reception.

Planning Process
1. What’s been the highlight of your planning process so far?
Cristian proposed in mid-September, and by the end of October, we had already secured both the church and the venue. We don’t even have a full year to plan the wedding, but it made me incredibly happy to know that I’m getting married in the church I’ve always wanted, and at the venue I’ve always dreamed of. I thought I wouldn’t be able to get married until 2027, and now we’re getting married in 2026. It’s important to mention that many couples who aren’t from the island choose to get married in Ibiza, so venues get booked up very quickly.
2. What’s surprised you most about wedding planning?
It’s more difficult than I expected. There are so many things to organize, and even though I have a wonderful wedding planner who helps me with everything, it’s still a challenging process. I’m a perfectionist, and I worry about everything turning out just right.
3. Is there an Instagram account, TikTok trend, or aesthetic you’re secretly loving right now?
I actually have a lot of inspiration saved on Pinterest, but it’s very varied because I don’t want my wedding to look like anyone else’s. I want it to be unique and to reflect our essence. I’m not following trends—I want a wedding that reflects our natural style.
4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting their planning journey?
I would tell them not to stress. Everything comes together little by little, and they should try to enjoy the process. And if possible, give yourself plenty of time to plan.
