How do you usually approach creating a wedding bouquet?

“When I design a bouquet for a bride, I always begin by requesting a photo of her wedding dress and accessories. Thus, I delve into the stylistic side of a wedding bouquet. The next step is a color palette. I choose the one that reflects the bride’s taste and complements the dress. Then, I start creating the bouquet, considering colors, shapes, and preferences. The colors, size, and textures must match both the fabric and the bride’s physique,” Sara says.

She adds, “Also, it’s essential to understand the bride’s personality deeply. Some brides may prefer modern, more geometric designs, while others lean towards romantic, curved arrangements with a touch of sophistication. I pick up on each bride’s unique traits, which is why every bouquet I create is so distinct!”

A Stylish Declaration of Love for Christmas

Alessia wanted a modern bridal bouquet that could reflect her love for Christmas and perfectly complemented her unconventional oversized bridal suit. Sara, understanding Alessia’s vision, crafted a bouquet with bold character, blending contrasting pink and fuchsia hues.

“For me, each wedding bouquet is a creative challenge. It’s crucial to grasp the bride’s desires while offering sound advice. I’ve seen too many stunning couples and photos undermined by lackluster bouquets. A bouquet isn’t just a bunch of flowers; it’s a stylistic statement involving careful consideration of space, color, fragrance, and layering,” Sara explains.

White with a Touch of Pastel and Black

“To design Jessica’s bouquet, I drew inspiration from her dress. It was a column dress silhouette, long, soft, and streamlined. Since black was part of Jessica’s color palette, I incorporated it into the bouquet. Personally, I adore using black in weddings because it adds vibrancy. Contrary to common belief, black can enhance brightness by accentuating the finer details when used in the right amount.”

Romantic Watercolor

For Violet, a radiant bride with a beautiful smile, Sara decided on a wedding bouquet bursting with vibrant colors. Sara explained, “When designing her bouquet, I took inspiration from her dress, wedding season, and the bride’s preferences. That’s why I selected the ranunculus among other flowers. It’s a flower symbolizing seduction and admiration, a perfect match for Violet’s charm!”

A Cloud of Orchids

“I absolutely loved creating the cloud-inspired bouquet for Erin, who preferred longer, draping flowers to complement her height. Inspired by the lightness of clouds and the purity of orchids, I chose Phalaenopsis orchids, which have been known for conveying richness, refinement, tenderness, and wisdom since ancient times. This type of bouquet perfectly complements elegant brides like Erin. Her kind words upon receiving the bouquet brought me immense joy. She said: “Hi! I just wanted to say thank you so much for creating such a breathtaking wedding bouquet for me. The flowers were gorgeous, and I still admire their beauty.”

"Here comes the bride!" Every single time I hear that, I feel a rush of emotion, curiosity, and sheer awe. With eyes shining and hearts brimming with joy, the bride makes her grand entrance. And there it is, just as radiant and triumphant as the bride herself—the Bouquet!

A Geometric Statement

Valentina envisioned a modern bouquet with a geometric shape. To bring her vision to life, Sara chose a cool, almost monochromatic color palette. She decided to use only two flowers: statement blue tulips and delicate violet clematis. It’s the perfect match for a bold and unconventional woman like Valentina.

Blue to Complement Eyes and Stand Out in a White Dress

Caroline expressed her desire for an abundant wedding bouquet in soft hues with a touch of blue. Inspired by her radiant smile and stunning dress, I immediately envisioned the perfect bouquet. I carefully selected high-quality flowers with the most captivating fragrances to match her brightness. The ribbon was chosen to match the color of her eyes perfectly! Her heartfelt words of gratitude, “Thank you for EVERYTHING! It was so wonderful to work with you, and it took my breath away how beautiful the flowers were,” made my day!

La Dolce Vita

Effei, an elegant Asian bride with a diva aura, opted for a bouquet of sophisticated and delicate flowers. It’s a multi-layered arrangement, blending different colors and weights, embodying the essence of the “La Dolce Vita in Rome” Bouquet.”

Not everyone is fond of flowers; some opt for bouquets made with artificial blooms or even unconventional items. However, I personally do love fresh flower wedding bouquets. There's something special about a well-arranged bouquet that harmonizes perfectly with the wedding dress.

Inspired by the Colors of Rome

For Bridey, I created a bouquet in cool tones, ranging from peaches to light blues. I designed this bouquet not only by considering the bride’s dress but also by incorporating the predominant colors of Rome. Each bride takes away the memories of her special day and the photos. That’s why attention to detail is crucial. It was wedding a bouquet that I loved so much!

Love and Legend

Dannikka is from Australia. She chose Rome as the stage for her big day. For her, I opted for vibrant floral colors and fragrances with character. Tulips, known as symbols of perfect and balanced relationships, were my top pick, representing love in its purest form. Legend has it that the tulip emerged from the drops of blood shed by a man who sacrificed himself for love—it’s as dramatic and romantic as Roman art.

In the Mood for Pink and Lightweight

Raisha, who was expecting a baby, desired delicate pink hues in her wedding bouquet and asked it to be compact for easy handling. “When designing bouquets, I always consider factors like the bride’s height and physique. For Raisha, I carefully selected a range of pink shades blending into white, using light and delicate flowers to fulfill her vision,” Sara recalls.
