Simon Porte Jacquemus‘ own wedding stood as inspiration for creating the traditional yet rebellious ‘Le Mariage’ collection. One of the unique features of the ‘Le Mariage’ is its playful mix-and-match approach. Beyond the wedding day, the collection also offers chic designs for pre and post-nuptial celebrations, like bikinis, swimsuits, and stripy towels. Notably, it includes pieces for the bride, groom, and guests, ensuring that everyone can partake in the chic aesthetic that Jacquemus is known for.
The fashion world was delighted by the campaign photographed by Oliver Hadlee Pearch and styled by Katie Burnett. It was inspired by the beauty of French pastoral landscapes and captured the joyful moments typical of summer weddings with beautiful models of different ages and ethnicities.
The range of bridal designs features minimalist classic white gowns with spaghetti straps and unconventional bridal dresses crafted with sheer fabrics and 3D floral embroidery. For male attendees the new assortment offers relaxed blazers—double-breasted tuxedo and oversized silhouettes. “Le Mariage” daringly incorporates white, black, and bold colorful pieces, challenging wedding norms with see-through polka dots, draped gowns, and red bridal party dresses.
Amongst innovative designs, the accessories stand out as true icons of Jacquemus style. The pillar box, oversized hats, signature Le Bambino bags, double sandals, and lavish, mismatched earrings infuse a playful yet elegant vibe with Jacquemus twists.
