Following the first bridal runway show at the historic Universitat de Barcelona in April, Vivienne Westwood’s 2026 Bridal Couture and Made-to-Order collections are now available for brides. Reimagining classic romanticism with a modern touch, the collections feature sculptural silhouettes, defined waists, drop-waist shapes, sheer lace, draped volumes, and more, marrying heritage elegance with contemporary design.
Nature and nostalgia take center stage, from rose prints inspired by 18th-century botanical watercolors to delicate orange blossom motifs drawn from the university’s courtyard. Soft organza, ruffled tulle, rich jacquards, pale pink duchesse, and faded lace create texture and depth, crafting gowns that feel timeless yet distinctly modern.
The Couture Collection is all about the details, continuing a dialogue between past and present. Each gown becomes an artistic expression of craftsmanship, tailored entirely by hand to the bride’s body. The result is a collection that embodies romance, individuality, and timeless femininity, serving as a modern homage to historical couture.
