Alice Wants Dessert is a wedding film studio founded by filmmaker Luisa Mauaccad, whose background in cinema gives her an artistic, music-driven approach to storytelling.
Luisa studied Film at the New York Film Academy and completed a postgrad in Directing at UCLA. She has over 15 years of experience in film and television, including Hollywood productions, O2 Filmes, TV Globo, and international film festival selections. Along the way, she developed a nonstop “great music hunter” lifestyle as a music supervisor, and now brings that instinct into the wedding world.
Her approach is rooted in the real and genuine: no staged scenes, no cookie-cutter formulas. She works with the natural flow of the day, creates space for spontaneous emotion, and treats editing as an art form in itself — every scene carefully curated and obsessively refined. Luisa’s experience with soundtracks lets her marry images and music seamlessly, making every feeling hit just right.
