The Jess Press is an award-winning calligraphy and custom paper studio based in central New Jersey. Jess founded the studio to create a true one-stop design resource for couples who want their stationery to feel cohesive from the very first save-the-date to the final place card.
With a BFA and a strong background in graphic design, she brings together fine art and structured design in a way that feels both polished and personal. Every suite is custom-built. Nothing is templated. The goal is to create paper that feels distinctly yours. Unlike many larger paper studios, clients work directly with Jess from the first consultation through production. She is known for her responsiveness, clarity, and attention to detail — qualities that have made her a trusted name in her field.
When she’s not at her desk lettering envelopes or refining layouts, Jess is a wife to Nick, a mom to Walker (with a baby brother on the way), and dog mom to their golden, Dock. She finds joy in home projects, a great cup of coffee, Nancy Meyers movies, baking days, podcasts, and time with family and friends.
At its core, The Jess Press is built on connection. Many client relationships begin with wedding stationery and continue well beyond it.
