The conception of 11.11 Weddings was born from founder Elizabeth’s long-standing love for all things vintage and antique. Known for spending her free time exploring old country houses, sifting through antique shops, and learning about different eras of vintage fashion.
While planning her own wedding, Elizabeth loved connecting with vintage suppliers, sourcing antique heirlooms, and thoughtfully considering how to honour her and her fiancé’s heritage. At the time, she was working as a Head of Product in a consumer tech company and noticed strong parallels between launching a product and planning a wedding, both requiring a design-led approach, rigorous prioritisation and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders. This sparked her passion to support other couples with a strong creative vision for their wedding day.
11.11 Weddings operates with a deeply values-led approach, shaped by Elizabeth’s own bridal experience; honouring the couple’s wants and needs, treating marriage as a sacred commitment and working with integrity-driven vendors. Elizabeth embraces detail-oriented planning, collaborates with local and independently owned businesses and seeks second-hand or pre-loved finds to blend intentional design with mindful consumption.
Elizabeth believes in creativity over clout and taste over extravagance, working alongside couples with cultural fluency who value the craftsmanship of by-gone eras and are keen to embody tradition with a twist. Drawing on references from classic films, historical research and iconic cultural moments, 11.11 Weddings acts as a creative partner - deep-diving into a specific period, shaping a nostalgic and whimsical vibe or curating an intentionally minimalist feel.
