Oliver Hartley

Oliver takes a gentle touch approach, and prioritises work that represents how it felt. As a photographer, he recognises the trust placed in him to document a wedding without getting in the way: letting moments unfold naturally, and giving everyone space to be themselves.

He documents these natural moments empathetically, with careful attention to light and colour, whilst blending in as both a guest and a friend.

His approach results in galleries full of warmth, feelings and emotion, from the peaks of joy to the soft, intimate and unguarded pockets of the day.

Oliver’s work is featured regularly in Australian publications Hello May and Theodore, as well as being recognised by TheWED in its list of Top 15 Wedding Photographers in Australia in 2022.

Oliver documents weddings in Australia and New Zealand for its peak seasons, and is based in Europe during its summer months.
