Lesya (pronounced LEH-syah) is a Los Angeles–based wedding photographer who captures weddings like cinema for the heart.
She grew up in Russia, shaped her eye for art in Florence, and built her home in California. Lesya is a true global soul, almost always with a camera or a Polaroid in hand, collecting stories, cultures, and quiet human moments along the way. Her images feel alive because they are grounded in people: fashion-inspired, personal, and emotionally present.
With a background in PR, Lesya has always understood people. Their emotions, their subtleties, the moments that pass unnoticed but carry the most meaning. On a wedding day, she moves quietly and with intention, capturing feelings couples often only realize later when they see them preserved. The compliment she hears most is, “We didn’t even notice you, yet you caught everything,” which she considers the highest praise.
She’s also a softie at heart. Raised with cats and now a devoted mom to Perchik, her mischievous red fluffball, who supervises editing sessions and occasionally steps on the keyboard. Fellow pet people tend to feel understood immediately.

She doesn’t work alone. Her partner in life and business, Andrei, joins as a second photographer. He brings calm to her creativity, handles the technical side with precision, and makes sure she’s sun-protected, well-fed, and ready to give her full heart to the day.
