Amanda Owen

Amanda Owen combines her decade of photography experience with her degree in Art History to create a beautiful intersection between Art and People. With her trained eye, she is able to capture her couples in both a documentary and editorial style. This allows her couples to feel both at ease on their wedding day and participate in the creative process.

Amanda was first introduced to photography as a teen when her father gifted her a camera before he traveled overseas. She immediately fell in love with documenting her surroundings and the people in her life. That love has only grown as she has expanded her craft to Weddings.

Her favorite part of the wedding day is when the couple sees each other for the first time and she is able to capture the emotions that are presented and just allow her couple to be in the moment. Empathy, connection, and trust are at the core of Amanda's client experience. She understands firsthand photography's power and will strive to create images for the romantics and the nostalgics. Amanda works in both digital and film mediums.
