“Each stem tells a story of season, rhythm, and light — a fleeting dialogue between nature and art.”
Neroli Floral Design is the floral studio of Chloe Hong, a Toronto-based artist who works with flowers the way painters work with colour and movement. Her arrangements are rooted in nature, shaped by texture, tone, and the quiet emotion that flowers naturally hold.
Chloe’s background in traditional Chinese painting guides her sense of composition. She thinks in rhythm and negative space, letting each stem fall into place so the design feels fluid and alive. The seasons play a big role in her work as well; their changing palettes and subtle shifts help define the mood of every arrangement.
Modern Ikebana also influences her approach. She looks for balance, structure, and harmony, choosing elements that stand beautifully on their own yet speak to each other. The result is floral design that feels sculptural but soft, intentional but never rigid.
Her work has been featured in leading publications around the world, and she has created florals for brands and celebrations of all scales. No matter the project, Chloe approaches each arrangement with an artist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart — always searching for the feeling behind the flowers.
