Natalie Gill founded Native Poppy in 2014, driven by her life's mission to spread joy through art alongside her friends. What began as a freelance, events-based venture in her backyard quickly evolved into a successful enterprise with two brick-and-mortar flower shops, thanks to the partnership with her business associate, Meg Blancato. Together, they are on a quest to revolutionize the retail floral industry and leave a lasting impression on the event scene.
Under Natalie's leadership, Native Poppy offers full-service event planning with a team of committed designers. They are known for their modern, garden-style arrangements that maximize the use of color and texture for the greatest effect. The team is passionate about large-scale installations and incorporating unconventional items, such as tumbleweeds painted pink, red potato garlands, dried citrus slices, or specially tailored scallop-cut fan palms. They have crafted six-foot floral koi fish for wedding aisles and immense lobsters to adorn tents for clam bakes, showcasing their love for creativity and making each event distinctly memorable.
