Lovie + Sons Flower Co. is the studio practice of Bri Lovie, a Nova Scotia–based floral artist whose work grows out of her background in both sculpture and horticulture. Trained in fine art and formally educated in plant science, Bri approaches floral design through material, form, and process rather than trends or formulas.
Her work is inherently sculptural. Structure and softness exist side by side, shaped by an interest in repetition, balance, and restraint. Much of her thinking comes from years of working with hand-built forms, where every element has a purpose and nothing is added without intention.
Across weddings and large-scale events, Bri treats each project as a shared design process. Scale may change, but the approach remains the same: thoughtful compositions, natural materials, and a strong awareness of space. Her work has been featured internationally and is defined by clarity, texture, and a quiet confidence in form.
