Floresrudas Studio is a floral architecture atelier founded in Mexico and based in Oaxaca, serving weddings, brands, and interior designers. Since its founding in 2017, the studio has been regarded for its sustainable and mindful philosophy, rooted in its initial pursuit of understanding and enhancing the soil it works with. "Rudas" is derived from rue, an herb seldom used in floral arrangements, symbolizing their embrace of the special moment to flower for the studio's clients.
Raquel, the founder and lead designer, has a background in cinema, literature, and editorial work, providing a rich visual reference library for floral design. Mexico's biodiverse territories fuel her passion for botany, research, and libraries. She and her team aim to create personal, unique, and striking montages for every project. They meticulously consider the venue, color palette, climate, and mood to craft arrangements, tablescapes, and installations that harmonize with the space, stimulate the senses through diverse textures, florals, and foliage, and pay homage to the native elements of floral and ceramics endemic to Mexico.
