Andrey Melamed is a wedding MC and celebrant who hosts international celebrations in five languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Russian. He has been working professionally since 2010, hosting weddings and celebrations for couples and guests from around the world, and is the winner of the "Best Multilingual MC" nomination awarded by Italian wedding magazine White Sposa.
Languages have always been central to his life. Andrey holds two university degrees: one in professional interpretation and translation, the other in TV and radio broadcasting. For 12 years he was also the author and host of Smart Travel, a show that took him across the world and taught him something he still uses at every wedding: how to discover people, cultures, and stories, and how to tell them in a way that makes others want to listen.
Before every wedding, Andrey gets to know the couple and their story: how they met, the first dates, the funny moments, the details that make their relationship theirs. That story becomes the ceremony. After it, he guides the evening, gives the floor to family and friends, and translates speeches so everyone in the room feels part of the moment. Quizzes, karaoke, cultural traditions: what comes in depends entirely on the couple and their guests.
He hosts weddings of all sizes, from five guests to several hundred. The number never matters. What matters is the atmosphere, and making every person in the room feel included.
