Jasmine was born in San Francisco in 1981. After a formal art background she started her cake studio in 2006. Her master’s degree in psychology is extremely relevant to her work and life because it’s now part of her identity. This influences the creative process both in making cakes and working with real people.
The experience of eating and trying something new is what Jasmine always encourages everyone to do, the need to get out of your comfort zone. Every tasting is a surprise with unique combinations of flavours. Whether it’s a mix of vanilla bean and raspberries or lavender, kalamansi and brown butter, each and very guest will be left breathless from the not too sweet piece of cake and will surely crave for more.
But Jasmine’s cakes are not only incredibly delicious, they are also a work of art from the outside too. Exceptional designs are represented by elements that describe the work. Whether it’s wind with light touches, water with deep bold colours or blossom with beautiful flowers- every piece is unique and made with great expertise representing the personality of each client.
“In 2014 I planned my own wedding, finally learning first-hand about the process no one can ever convey—the sense of endless details to consider, the consuming moments, and the growth required in the relationship to focus shared interests and bring everything to life.
I believe art should reveal the hand of the artist”
