With over a decade of experience in fashion design and bridal couture, Sheryl Yip is known for her intricate handwork, impeccable attention to detail, and innovative fabric artistry. Her designs have received international recognition, appearing in British VOGUE, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Sparrow, Denmark BryllupsMagasinet, and more.
Sheryl’s journey into couture began at a young age, driven by a deep passion for dressmaking and couture design. Originally from Hong Kong, she developed her expertise in womenswear fashion design before advancing her studies at the Swedish School of Textiles and the renowned Central Saint Martins in London, where she specialized in Haute Couture. Her career includes experience with high-end runway brands, Hong Kong celebrities, and influencers, as well as serving as the core bridal designer for Catherine Deane in London before establishing her own atelier in Copenhagen.
At the heart of Sheryl’s design philosophy is a dedication to organic, handcrafted techniques. She is distinguished for her layered texture design and bespoke lace appliqué artwork, meticulously draped to accentuate the natural beauty of the female form. She takes pride in sourcing the highest quality fabrics, carefully selected over the years from historic Haute Couture French lace manufacturers and European textile houses. Each gown is crafted from scratch with love inside her Copenhagen atelier.
