British designer and Central St Martin alumni Hermione de Paula is renowned for her exquisitely embroidered, achingly romantic Art-Couture collections.

Having refined her trade in-house for some of the world’s leading couture houses,  Hermione launched her eponymous label in 2008. Fusing haute-couture handwriting with a celestial sentiment, her collections are ethereal and contemporary, inspired by the natural world and a modern, feminine spirit.

Celebrated for her bespoke creations and signature personalisation, Hermione de Paula brings artisanal craftsmanship to her designs. Each of her heirloom-like pieces blends couture technique, luxury materials, and ethereal whimsy. Her expert skill with romantic surrealist prints, elaborate hand-drawn artwork, and intricate embroidery makes her designs unique. Hermione inherits her natural eye for design from influential women in her family, including her great aunt Lady Helena Webb who was one of the first fashion illustrators for British Vogue in the 1930s.
