Tallulah Willis Married Justin Acee at Her Family’s Home in Idaho

Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, married musician Justin Acee on August 8 in an intimate backyard ceremony at her family’s home in Hailey, Idaho, near Sun Valley, a place with real sentimental weight for the couple since it’s also where Acee proposed.

Tallulah, whose father Bruce Willis has spoken publicly about living with frontotemporal dementia, shared a separate photo from earlier in the wedding weekend of a quiet moment with her father and Acee together, writing that it was one she’d never forget.

The bride wore a custom couture gown by Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, one of the first bridal pieces he’s designed since taking over the house, built from silk satin and silk organza with a draped centerpiece, a long trailing train, and a bow at the back that Piccioli said he wanted to feel like “a package that was being unwrapped.” The gown took 712 hours total to make, including 405 hours of construction and alterations and roughly 60 hours spent hand-beading individual organza petals directly onto the fabric, with the veil alone accounting for another nine hours. Even the neckline had a personal reference point: its shape was drawn from a black Balenciaga sheath Demi Moore wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party back in March. Willis developed the look alongside her mother’s longtime stylist, Brad Goreski.

Willis has admitted she felt her heart pounding once she reached the altar, which is part of why she and Acee had planned a short grounding meditation at the very start of the ceremony to settle their nerves before exchanging vows. The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s friend Jeremy. Partway through, he deviated from the script to announce that someone special had written something for the couple. A recording of Chris Martin’s voice, a gift Moore had arranged without her daughter’s knowledge, came through the speakers with an opening line customized for the moment: “Tallulah and Justin, walking down the aisle.” Willis, a longtime Coldplay fan since middle school, had independently chosen the band’s song “A Message” to actually walk down the aisle to just minutes earlier, which made the surprise land even harder.

For the reception, she changed into a second look, a Vivienne Westwood mini dress sourced through LOHO Bride, with a snatchy waist and a crinoline underlayer that flared the skirt out for her first dance with Acee, who wore a bespoke tuxedo from Dzojchen.

Willis and Acee began dating in January 2023. She has spoken about the relationship as a source of real stability while she’s navigated her father’s illness. The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve 2024, with Willis marking the occasion on Instagram with a simple “everyday.”
