Brigette Pheloung, the fashion influencer behind Acquired Style, married her longtime partner, Mitch McHale, on August 8 in Newport, Rhode Island. The wedding ceremony leaned fully into waterfront romance: guests gathered beneath a floral arch overflowing with white roses, hydrangeas, and greenery, with clouds of white blooms lining the aisle and the water stretching out behind the couple as they exchanged vows.

For the ceremony, Pheloung wore a custom Vera Wang gown built around a sculpted drop-waist silhouette, with oversized fabric roses blooming across the hips and continuing down the train into a full ballgown skirt. She paired the dress with a diamond necklace centered on a teardrop pendant and styled her hair in a side part with old-Hollywood waves. Her identical twin sister and Phe Phe co-founder, Danielle Pheloung, served as maid of honor in a dramatic black gown with a matching drop-waist silhouette, a deliberate mirror of the bride’s own dress.

The Newport celebration was actually their second wedding. Pheloung and McHale had already made it official weeks earlier, on June 29, with a small, private legal ceremony at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, the same school where they met nearly a decade ago, before bringing friends and family together for the full celebration on August 8.

The wedding capped off a year of highly documented bridal milestones for Pheloung, whose April bachelorette in St. Barths, complete with a private jet decorated for the occasion, became its own moment on TikTok well before the wedding itself.
