Laura and Ben found each other thanks to some mutual friends. Their relationship blossomed over a first holiday in the Amalfi Coast, a place so dear to them that it became the obvious choice for their weekend-long wedding.

The photographer Agnes Black did a wonderful job of taking pictures during Laura and Ben’s big day. They have a bright, sunny feel that reflects the couple’s happiness. The photos highlight the laughter, joy, and the beautiful Amalfi Coast setting.

The wedding was held at Casa Privata in Praiano. June brought the perfect summer weather for the event. The venue, with its lush greenery and cliffside sea views, provided a stunning backdrop for the ceremony in the Olive Gardens and the chic poolside cocktail hour.

In the morning, Laura dressed in her elegant Danielle Frankel gown. Her hair was styled into a sleek bun and a natural makeup enhanced her beauty. Bridesmaids, dressed in warm terracotta, were ready to accompany her to the ceremony.

Ben and his party chose classic black tuxedos with bow ties, showcasing the Italian elegance.

The ceremony was held outdoors in the fresh sea air, with the soft murmur of waves in the distance. Laura and Ben standing hand in hand, surrounded by the arrangements of white, cream, and soft peach roses. The simplicity of the moment, enriched by the beauty of the Amalfi Coast and the warmth of the sun, made it a picturesque and memorable event for everyone present.

The cocktail hour unfolded by the stunning turquoise pool. Guests mingled, sipping on Aperol Spritz, the clinking glasses harmonizing with the gentle sea breeze and the soft buzz of conversation.

Laura and Ben had a quiet moment together by the cliffside. Captured on a 35 mm film, this moment was a serene contrast to the day’s joyful festivities.

The reception sparkled under a hundreds of gorgeous fairy lights as candles created a soft glow. “We wanted a Slim Aarons vibe with romantic touches, focusing on candlelight for the dining area,” the bride shared.

Laura and Ben made a thoughtful gesture and created handwritten poems for each guest, a favor that everyone adored and continue to talk about.

The day wrapped up with Ben’s groomsmen surprised the crowd with a dance off. Laura and Ben sealed the night with a sparkler-lit kiss and a champagne cascading from glass to glass in a sparkling tower.

Advices from the couple:

Take in and appreciate every moment as the day goes so quickly.

• Photographers and videographers are worth their weight in gold. If you are weighing up whether to have them, definitely do!

Tiny details help to curate the most magical for your guests and for you to remember. But on the day, don’t sweat the small stuff – you can’t change anything, so just go with it and enjoy every second.

For males, always try wearing the ring. Ben wouldn’t because he feared it would be bad luck. Not only did Laura have a tough time forcing the ring on, but his finger swelled for days after, meaning he had to wear the ring on his small finger. The situation could have all been avoided by simply trying it on).
