The number of guests: 20

Brody and Kennedy’s love story is a perfect example of fate at work. They met in college through mutual friends when Kennedy turned 21 and Brody a few years older. They spent hours FaceTiming and quickly developed a deep connection when they finally met in person. “I’ll never forget driving to meet him for the first time in a little southern town. It was definitely love at first sight,” recalls Kennedy.

Over the next few years, their relationship grew deeper through frequent meetings, all-night conversations and shared dreams. However, they never officially started dating because they lived in different places. Despite the distance, they never lost touch, always feeling like their paths would cross again someday. And that’s exactly what happened. Their reunion came unexpectedly in Florence, Italy, where both had moved for new beginnings. Kennedy shares: “On a hot summer day in June, I packed up my things, left Los Angeles, and moved to Florence to pursue a new career opportunity. I was really nervous about the move, leaving all my friends and life in the States, but I truly felt excited and ready for a change.”

Little did I know, Brody would move down the street in Florence, Italy, the same week. He reached out about two months after we both had lived there. I couldn't believe we had both moved across the world to the same little beautiful, dreamy town full of art and the most amazing culture. We met up on an autumn night over some spritz and cigarettes, and the rest was history… we spent the rest of our time living in Florence, falling in love, traveling throughout Europe, creating and dreaming together.

After their European adventure, Brody and Kennedy decided to return to the United States and move back to New York City, a place they were both familiar with from previous stints. One night, Brody surprised Kennedy with a thoughtful date. They explored the city together, visiting various spots while a videographer captured their journey.

At the end, they found themselves on their NYC fire escape, where Brody popped the question in a truly unique way, using lipstick to write, Will You Marry Me? Kennedy was completely taken, and without hesitation, she said yes.

Inspired by their shared love for French cinema, the chic aesthetic of 1970s France, Kennedy and Brody envisioned a wedding that echoed vintage French glamour. The videographers at ROMAVERA Films beautifully captured their special day without resorting to clichés and artificiality.

With striking hues and scenery,  Roma and Vera transformed this wedding day into a cinematic masterpiece, perfectly reflecting the couple’s style and love. Through careful storytelling and seamless editing, they ensured that the final product was more than just a collection of video cuts—it was a journey that captured Kennedy and Brody’s story and their real personalities, and the genuine emotions and interactions of all who attended. We can’t stop watching!

The wedding took place at Domaine Rocabella, a villa featured in “Downtown Abbey: A New Era,” overlooking the azure Mediterranean Sea, characterized by its polished wooden floors, exquisite moldings, and timeless art deco furniture. Each room within this venue serves as a unique haven, offering an inviting atmosphere for the lovebirds and their guests to enjoy.

Before the wedding, Kennedy and her bridesmaids gathered by the pool for a delightful garden party. They were adorned with charming shell glasses and dressed in various colorful dresses. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the anticipation of the day ahead, they shared cherished moments, like opening presents, walking barefoot on the grass, sipping champagne, and tasting desserts.

For the garden party, Kennedy opted for a playful yet elegant ensemble. She wore a short dress adorned with voluminous ruffles and a delicate train, creating a girly and romantic silhouette. The dress featured open sides and back, accentuating her figure with a touch of allure. Completing her look, Kennedy chose shoes with ribbons and a hat with a wide brim that added adorable touches to her outfit. Her ensemble exuded a sense of flirtatious charm and a coquette aesthetic.

Meanwhile, Brody and his groomsmen relaxed in another part of the villa, savoring cold beers and refreshingly swimming under the warm sun. They enjoyed each other’s company and basked in the wedding excitement.

The pre-wedding party proved a fantastic idea, setting the tone for fun and relaxation among all the guests. These gatherings allowed everyone to unwind and connect, creating a joyful atmosphere. Rather than being filled with chaos and running around, the entire day leading up to the ceremony was filled with meaningful activities and memorable events, ensuring that every moment was cherished.

Kennedy relished some quiet moments to herself, eagerly anticipating the upcoming day, and took the opportunity to write down her impressions and feelings. Soon, the bridesmaids joined her in her room, and the shared preparations began.

When the bride was ready, the reaction of family and friends supported her as she prepared for her big day. Their excitement calmed her, especially the touching response from her parents, who were particularly moved by her radiant image. Their lovely reaction added to the joy and anticipation of the moment, filling Kennedy’s heart with warmth and gratitude.

For her wedding day, Kennedy chose a dress that was uniquely hers. Custom-designed by herself, the gown was a true reflection of her style. Inspired by the iconic looks of Bridgette Bardot and her signature corseted, curvy dresses from classic films, Kennedy’s dress was a sight to behold. The gown perfectly captured her vision with its flattering silhouette and attention to detail like a basque, corset’s laces, and floral patterns on delicate fabric.

The bridesmaids wore unique, hand-picked silk dresses in blush, champagne, or rose colors and beautiful floral chokers from Etsy.

The bride completed her wedding look with voluminous platform shoes featuring thick heels for style and comfort. She adorned her ears with long pearl earrings, adding a summer vibe to her ensemble. However, the most beautiful detail was the matching heart tattoos adorning the sweethearts’ ring fingers, symbolizing their deep and eternal love.

Kennedy, a luxury account manager, and Brody, a fashion designer, have chosen careers in the fashion industry. No wonder their wedding attires stood out for their distinctive style, creativity, and uniqueness, drawing sighs of admiration.

Brody wore a vintage Dior suit he found at a Parisian vintage store, adding a touch of classic elegance to his wedding attire. As a designer, he showcased his creativity by incorporating various bespoke pieces throughout the wedding weekend. His single-breasted jacket in rich green featured a sophisticated shawl collar, perfectly complemented by a black bow tie and a tuxedo shirt with a pleated front.

The photographer Nicole Plett skillfully captured the essence of the day, effortlessly conveying the couple’s atmosphere, personalities, and emotions without resorting to clichés and artificiality. Her work immortalized every stylish wedding detail, from the stunning locations to the heartfelt emotions.

The ceremony commenced against the enchanting backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea view framed by trees. Kennedy and Brody deliberately kept their wedding intimate and sacred, inviting only their closest loved ones.

Guests gathered beneath the elegant canopy, adorned with twinkling lights and lush greenery, setting the stage for an evening of joy and festivity. The decor and flower arrangements were thoughtfully crafted to embody simplicity and chic elegance, captivating the hearts of all who beheld them.

As the night progressed, the flickering candlelight reflected warmly on the hall’s walls, lending a cozy and intimate ambiance to the reception and enveloping guests in its romantic glow.

The speeches delivered during the wedding were extremely moving. Emotions ran high, and tears flowed freely among the attendees, who were deeply touched by the sincerity of the moment. The film, shot by the ROMAVERA team, captured the bride’s father’s speech beautifully, sincerely, and with a touch of humor. They seamlessly weaved it with other memorable moments of the day.

We truly felt like one big family holding hands and sharing memories, laughs, and stories, as the wedding guest size was rather intimate. I'll never forget my dad's speech about his little girl growing up, and he mentioned to everyone that right before he walked me down the aisle… I looked at him and said, "Dad, it feels like heaven. I feel Jackson looking down on us." Referencing what I had told my dad earlier that day and mentioning my twin brother Jackson, who had passed.

The newlyweds shared their first dance in the enchanting Winter Garden’s greenhouse, surrounded by ornamental windows, greenery, and delicate blooms, creating a truly magical setting for their special moment.

Following their first dance, the festivities continued as the couple cut the cake joyously, savoring each delicious bite together. With the cake-cutting ceremony complete, everyone took to the dance floor and danced the night away, filled with laughter and joy that echoed throughout the evening.

Kennelly and Brody’s wedding was undeniably real. The magnificence of their special day wasn’t just in the decorations or the venue; it was in the sincerity of their love and the raw, unfiltered emotions that permeated the air. It celebrated true feelings, real love, and natural beauty.
