Bridal brands have started unveiling their new collections, and we’ve already found the one we keep coming back to. Desert Rose, from Ukrainian label LuceSposa, was made for the light of southern Spain. In that light, dust turns gold, ancient rock glows ochre, and a sequin becomes a small sun of its own. The brand calls it a story of refined boldness, and its 34 gowns live up to that. They’re made for the bride who steps out of the shade on purpose.

The collection was shot among the Gorafe rock formations in Andalusia, and its range of shapes is just as wide as the landscape. There are refined A-lines, fitted gowns, full princess skirts, and transformer dresses that change with a detachable piece. The fabrics stay close to bridal classics: Chantilly lace, mikado, stretch satin, and plenty of sequins. Salvadora, a strapless column embellished almost top to bottom in silver, shows how far the brand is willing to push that last one.

"The collection's defining motif is a blend of timeless classics, bohemian aesthetics, and contemporary fashion trends. Handcrafted embroidery featuring pearls, crystals, and beads, dimensional lace, and fringe — every detail has been thoughtfully perfected."

Much of Desert Rose is built to change over the course of the day. Trains, capes, embroidered boleros, voluminous sleeves, corsets, and gloves all come off, so a single gown can carry a bride from the ceremony to the dance floor. Dia, a short sequin dress paired with a sweeping organza cape, is the clearest example. Take the cape off, and it becomes a different look entirely.

The collection also makes room for the bride who never pictured herself in white. Arely, in a luminous silver-nude, was made with her in mind. Elsewhere, softer lace gowns like Leya and Dayana balance out all the shine.
The full collection is available to view on the LuceSposa website and on Instagram.
