This spring, WedVibes Media and Happy Moments Collector welcomed a select group of wedding planners to Lake Como for an immersive two-day experience designed to go far beyond a traditional workshop. The idea was simple: bring planners into the real rhythm of Lake Como, its venues, vendors, logistics, cuisine, and atmosphere, the kind of beauty that can only be understood by being there.

Day One: Education, Lake Views & Local Hospitality

The first day took place at Villa Almana, a private villa overlooking Lake Como with mountain views in every direction. The program opened with educational sessions led by Alina, co-founder of WedVibes Media, Anastasia Alsanyan, founder of Happy Moments Collector, and the team from Blunotte Eventi, one of the most established production studios working on Lake Como.

A highlight of the day was lunch by Sunlake Catering, one of the most renowned names in catering on Lake Como, created especially for the planners. Exceptional food, a refined tablescape, and a view of the lake that needed no introduction. Dramatic ice sculptures sat at the center of the table, alongside monogrammed napkins and elegant white florals - the kind of details that made the whole setting feel fresh and elevated.

Throughout the day, guests also enjoyed a jamón station, an olive oil tasting, cocktails, and a cake tasting by cake artist Karolien Beyens, each one offering a closer look at the level of craftsmanship and hospitality available in the region.

The first day ended with dinner in Como at La Piazzetta, giving everyone a chance to unwind, continue conversations, and take in the atmosphere of the city after a full day of learning and inspiration.

Day Two: Villa La Cassinella & An Editorial Experience on the Water

The second day brought the group to Villa La Cassinella, one of the most private and exclusive villas on Lake Como. Accessible only by water and hidden among cypress trees, gardens, and lakeside architecture, it became the setting for a full editorial experience, designed to show planners exactly what is possible when a remarkable location meets the right creative team.

The day included a styled editorial shoot with an elegant couple, a classic wooden Riva boat, and views of the lake that needed nothing added to them. Rich floral arrangements, sculptural and warm in color, filled the villa's iconic spaces, while planners moved between an educational session on budgets and logistics, a guided tour of the property, a floral masterclass, a bridal fashion pop-up, and dedicated time to create content throughout the villa.

The morning began slowly, with the villa and the lake spread out ahead. Both the bride and groom got ready against that view, the kind of backdrop that makes even the quietest moments feel cinematic.

The ceremony setting needed very little explanation. Dramatic draping, bright florals, and Lake Como behind it all. Some settings simply speak for themselves.

The boat ride across Lake Como was one of the day's defining moments. A classic wooden Riva, the water, the light, and views that made everything else feel secondary.

The reception decor was bold and full of life, vibrant florals in bursts of orange and rich warm tones filling the villa's spaces with color and energy. A deliberate contrast to the softness of the morning, and exactly the kind of detail that makes a room feel alive.

The evening closed with a towering tiered cake and one final surprise from the bride, who changed into a bright, bold outfit that brought the energy of the night to a whole new level.
