A New York Bridal Editorial at the 3 West Club

Featured Members

If there's a version of bridal that feels unmistakably New York, this editorial is it. A tulle skirt sweeping past yellow cabs. Wood-paneled library rooms that have been standing since the Gilded Age. A rooftop with the Manhattan skyline spread out behind it. Shot across several Midtown locations, it has the kind of atmosphere a studio shoot simply can't manufacture.

Set within the storied walls of the 3 West Club, once the private residence of industrialist Andrew Carnegie, this editorial captures a quiet dialogue between heritage and modern romance.

The gown is Sabrina, designed by Guillermo Pharis. High-neck, cap-sleeved, with a bodice worked in lace — sheer at the shoulders and structured at the waist. The skirt is full tulle, tiered. It pools on the floor and catches light differently depending on where you're standing. Pharis is a New York-based designer who has been working in bridal since childhood. He shows during New York Bridal Fashion Week. Sabrina reflects his approach: artistry as the primary material.

Part of the shoot moved outside to Fifth Avenue: yellow cabs, busy sidewalks, midtown as it actually is. The photographer Angie Mandl doesn't try to quiet any of it. The images are better for that instinct.

The bouquet, by Luna Luxe Events, is all white: calla lilies, spider mums, and garden roses with a pearl-trimmed stem wrap. Up close it's intricate. Pulled back, it reads as one clean shape. Baroque pearl earrings and a twisted pearl bracelet from 1010 EDIT finish the look. Hair and makeup by Jvall Distyling: a sculpted vintage bob and a muted berry lip. Styling that pulls everything together without stealing the show.
