Set in the South of France, this wedding unfolded as a multi-day celebration built around joy, connection, and effortless style. The couple imagined an experience where friends and family could genuinely come together, flowing through sunny days and vibrant nights that reflected their love of travel, music, and shared moments, from relaxed seaside gatherings to the final celebration at Les Moulins de Ramatuelle. Photographer Elisabetta Riccio captured it from a deeply personal perspective, preserving the emotion, energy, and atmosphere in photos that feel timeless and alive.

Megan and Alex’s story began during the second lockdown, when a spontaneous trip to Dubai brought them together by pure chance. She was living in London, he in Paris, and what started as an unexpected meeting quickly turned into an inseparable bond. From Stockholm to Morocco to Mexico, their early relationship was defined by constant movement, closed borders, last-minute plans, and a shared determination to always find their way back to each other.
Three years later, Alex planned a surprise New York getaway that led to an intimate proposal at Aman New York, set to the sound of their song and overlooking Central Park. It was emotional, personal, and perfectly them.
Beach Party
From the very beginning, Megan and Alex envisioned a wedding that felt joyful, relaxed, and full of life. Their goal was never formality, but an atmosphere where laughter flowed easily and guests could truly connect and celebrate together. With smaller families and a tight-knit circle of friends from around the world, the guest list naturally became young and energetic, ready for a good time. As Megan puts it, “Alex has friends everywhere we go,” which made a destination, multi-day celebration feel like the only option.
The wedding weekend was designed as a multi-day celebration shaped by connection, movement, and joy. Day one began with a welcome party and barbecue at their new summer home, followed by a boat party on day two.
The day before the wedding, Megan and Alex welcomed their guests with a beach party at Indie Beach. The afternoon began with cocktails by the sea, followed by a relaxed lunch with no assigned seating, encouraging everyone to mingle and connect. Wanting to keep the energy light and flowing, the couple chose to have all courses served at once, with dessert saved for later, allowing the gathering to naturally transition into a lively beach party that carried on through sunset and perfectly set the tone for the days ahead.
Bride's Morning & Fashion
The morning of the wedding held deep meaning for Megan. She had handwritten letters to her bridesmaids, parents, and siblings, and seeing their reactions was incredibly moving. Getting ready with her bridesmaids, mother, and sister felt intimate and full of warmth. The most emotional moment came with her father. Usually reserved, he surprised her by breaking down in tears the moment he arrived, even before she began her makeup. It was a moment neither of them will ever forget.
Megan began modeling over a decade ago, and one of her very first jobs was shooting a magazine cover for J&J Bridal, a family-owned bridal boutique that has been part of the industry for decades. It was there that she met owner Amy Holmes, a connection that quickly grew into a close friendship. Over the years, Megan continued working with Amy on bridal shows and shoots, and when she got engaged, Amy had the most thoughtful idea of all: dressing Megan for every look throughout the wedding celebrations.
Together, Megan and Amy designed a custom gown with Monreal Bridal. The design was so special that it became the brand’s permanent style and was named after Megan. She paired the look with Amina Muaddi heels and wore additional dresses by Milanova for other wedding events.
For the after-party, she chose a runway piece by Marella. Her jewelry added deep emotion, with a necklace borrowed from her mother and earrings from one of her best friends. Hair and makeup were done by Oksana Deneka. Both her engagement ring and wedding band were custom-made by a jeweler in New York.
Groom's Fashion
The groom wore a custom suit by La Maison de l’Homme, tailored by his best friend, making the look deeply personal. He wore it with Morjas shoes for understated elegance and comfort, Jacques Marie Mage “Leclair” glasses inspired by the 1950s, and a vintage Rolex Daytona 6263 from his own collection. A final sentimental touch came in the form of cufflinks passed down from his grandfather, reflecting his love for tradition, friendship, and timeless style.
Ceremony
Walking down the aisle with his mother was an incredibly meaningful moment for Alex, one filled with emotion and gratitude. Yet the most powerful moment for him came while waiting at the altar and seeing Megan for the first time. As Megan’s father handed her over, Alex shared a quiet, deeply personal exchange with him, promising, “I’ll take care of her,” a moment that carried immense weight and tenderness.
For Megan, walking down the aisle with her father was a lifelong dream brought to life. It was a moment she had always imagined and one she will hold close to her heart forever. Seeing Alex waiting for her and witnessing the exchange between the two most important men in her life made the moment even more profound, filled with love, pride, and emotion.
They chose to have two of their closest friends officiate the ceremony, a decision rooted in connection and authenticity. “We never wanted someone who didn’t truly know us,” Megan adds. “For us, it had to be personal.”
For both Megan and Alex, the most unforgettable part of the day was the speeches they shared at the altar. Those words, spoken openly and honestly, captured their journey, their devotion, and the depth of their connection, becoming a moment neither of them will ever forget.
Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to an open bar serving Megan and Alex’s favorite cocktails: basil smash, lychee martini, and spicy margarita. These signature drinks flowed throughout the four-day celebration, instantly setting a relaxed, joyful tone and encouraging everyone to settle into the rhythm of the weekend.
“We didn’t want a serious wedding. We wanted something that felt like us, full of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable moments.”

Concept & Reception Design
Working closely with their wedding planner, Joy Production, they spent months refining every detail, from late-night calls to thoughtful conversations around mood boards, layouts, and creative direction. Megan naturally led the design vision, bringing her creative eye to every decision. Wanting the setting to feel in harmony with their South of France location, she chose a palette of soft greens and neutral tones that felt timeless and natural. Every element was designed to complement the surroundings rather than compete with them, resulting in décor that felt elevated, intentional, and quietly refined.
“For us, the heart of the wedding was always the atmosphere,” Megan shares. “Décor matters, of course, but guests rarely remember the exact shade of the flowers or the table settings. What they never forget is how much fun they had.” For the couple, design was simply a backdrop to what mattered most: energy, connection, and creating moments their guests would truly feel and remember.
Reception
The newlyweds made their entrance to the ceremony with vibrant music, setting the tone from the very first moment. A carefully curated playlist of their all-time favorite songs carried the celebration forward, while during dinner, live performances by Victor Ledouarec had guests on their feet, dancing between courses and turning the evening into a shared, joyful experience.
For dessert, the couple served the iconic Tarte Tropézienne, a true nod to Saint-Tropez, before opening the dance floor with their first dance to “You’re My First, My Last, My Everything” by Barry White.
Every decision, from the music to the flow of the evening, was designed to keep the energy high and the dance floor full. With many close friends from the music industry, sound and rhythm played a central role in shaping a night filled with movement, emotion, and unforgettable moments.
Advice from the couple:
• The best advice for any couple getting married is that you have to compromise between the couple and expect that not everything goes exactly to plan on the day. Try to enjoy the process together. It should be exciting, not a chore; nobody enjoys it when you’re overly anxious and stressed.
• Not choosing the right photographer will ruin your wedding, it has happened to so many friends and you will never have that moment again to keep, why spend most of your budget on flowers or venues when you don’t capture the moment.
• Good-quality alcohol is key; nobody likes a deadly hangover, especially when the wedding is over a few days later.
• Great entertainment is so important. It’s the part guests enjoy the most; it brings a vibrant energy that lets everyone have fun.
