Capturing every detail and all the in-between magic was Kevin Unger of Morning Light Photography, whose soft, light-filled style brought their day to life with emotion and elegance. From quiet pre-ceremony moments to golden hour portraits and dance floor bliss, his photos told the full story—effortlessly and artfully.
Couple's Morning & Fashion
For her wedding day, Vanessa chose a breathtaking gown by Australian designer Blanche Bridal, complete with a dramatic 14-foot veil that flowed like poetry behind her. Her delicate white Christian Louboutin heels with romantic lace-up ties added extra elegance to the look.
Her hair and makeup were styled to perfection by Ashley Wagner, effortlessly complementing the soft, romantic vibe of the day. She carried a bouquet of white roses with a few peonies tucked in, made by Flowers by Jodi, who also designed all the stunning florals for the celebration.
Anthony had a complete Tom Ford look with a tailored suit, classic bow tie, button-up shirt, and cufflinks that added just the right amount of polish. Choosing to skip the boutonnière, he let the suit speak for itself—and it did, with quiet confidence and undeniable presence.
First Look
Vanessa and Anthony chose to share a first look before the ceremony—an intimate moment that set the tone for the rest of the day. Seeing each other for the first time away from the crowd melted the nerves and brought an overwhelming sense of calm.
"It was such a special moment between the two of us that we will always be thankful for.”

Pre-Ceremony Magic
The couple chose to take the majority of their portraits before the ceremony, allowing them to be fully present for the celebration ahead. “We wanted to enjoy our wedding and actually be at our cocktail hour,” they shared.
Morning Light Photography beautifully captured all the love and joy in those quiet, meaningful moments—alongside their bridal party—before the official “I do.”
Ceremony
Set against stunning Arizona’s Troon North, the couple said “I do” on a golf course, where desert views stretched endlessly behind them. With a soft breeze and the signature golden hour glow, the atmosphere was effortlessly romantic. The ceremony held just an hour before sunset for that dreamy light and ideal temperature, felt intimate and cinematic.
White garden roses appeared to bloom straight from the ground, lining the aisle like a living rose garden. Two arches overflowing with blooms at the altar created a breathtaking focal point—elegant, timeless, and totally unforgettable.
The ceremony was deeply personal and warm—a moment that felt especially meaningful for the couple. One of the most touching details was a reserved seat at the front, placed in loving memory of Anthony’s late sister, making her presence felt in spirit on such a significant day. It was a quiet, beautiful tribute that added even more heart to an already emotional exchange of vows.
"We chose our Zia (aunt) Angela to be our wedding officiant, and we did our own vows, really setting the mood for the intimacy and love we share.”
Vanessa, The bride
Cocktail Hour
Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with sunset views, signature drinks in hand, and an electric buzz in the air—it was the perfect lead-up to the evening ahead.
Reception Decor
The newlyweds wanted the natural beauty of the desert to take center stage, so they kept the florals and decor intentionally minimal and refined. For the reception, tables were elegantly styled with tall candles in glass hurricane vases and clusters of white roses, creating a romantic yet understated glow as the sun dipped below the horizon.
One especially meaningful detail was a tribute to their beloved dog Harvey, who had been set to play a big role in the day but sadly passed away just before the wedding. In his honor, the couple donated to the Niagara Animal Shelter and Rescue as their wedding favors, and personalized napkins celebrated Harvey’s memory in a way that felt both tender and true to their story.
Reception
For their grand entrance, Vanessa and Anthony made sure it was one to remember. As guests took their seats, a video montage of the couple’s most treasured moments played across the screen, set to the soulful “This is a Man’s World” by James Brown.
As the music swelled, a countdown appeared—building the excitement—before the newlyweds made their entrance to a room full of cheers. They flowed straight into their first dance without missing a beat, ending with a picture-perfect lift that had everyone on their feet.
"We both wanted to make sure we spent the day with one other, and that's exactly how it went. We had so many friends and family join us to celebrate and create memories, but we never felt without one another.”
