Set against the serene winter backdrop of Schloss Neuhardenberg, Viktoria and Maurice’s wedding was a celebration of timeless elegance and heartfelt moments. From a sparkling first look beneath bare trees to candlelit toasts and a joyful sparkler exit, every detail was romantic and deeply personal.
Location: Brandenburg, Germany
Style: High class glamour, romantic
Time of planning: 4 months
Number of guests: 45
Setting: Castle
Season: Winter
Viktoria and Maurice are the kind of couple whose joy is quietly radiant, grounded, genuine, and full of charm. Their love speaks through the little things: a shared glance, an inside joke, the way they move through a room hand in hand. Together, they created a day that reflected who they are, thoughtful, stylish, and heartfelt.
Bride's Look
Viktoria opted for the Ida Torez gown from Crusz Berlin. The dress, with its long sleeves and open back, had a magical shimmer. Thanh Thanh styled the bride’s hair into a sleek bun, softened by two delicate strands framing the face. Catching her reflection during styling, the bride smiled: “Oh yes, I feel the strands. This is going to be good!”
Viktoria carried an all-white bouquet tied with ribbon made from her gown’s fabric, a subtle, personal touch. Despite the winter chill, she wore no coat, choosing instead to be wrapped in the moment. Her scent, ‘Woman in Gold’ by Kilian, was the result of a months-long search, while the minimal jewelry let the attire speak for itself.
Groom's Fashion
Maurice wore a tailored dark blue suit with fine pinstripes, paired with a crisp white bowtie and polished dark shoes, a timeless silhouette with a modern edge. His scent, carefully chosen from Chanel, added a subtle layer of sophistication, reserved especially for the occasion.
First Look
Before the ceremony, the couple shared a quiet first look, just the two of them, framed by tall trees and golden winter light. The weather was crisp but cheerful, and everything aligned for this intimate moment they had dreamed of. They met in the middle of the tree-lined avenue, their footsteps soft on the leaves. It was a pause in the day, just long enough to take each other in, fully, before stepping into all that was to come.
DFischer Wedding captured this moment, and every moment that followed, with a lightness and clarity that felt like winter itself, crisp, elegant, and fresh. With an eye for detail and emotion, the photographer beautifully translated the couple’s vision: from the soft, airy aesthetic of the celebration to the joy and warmth that marked each glance, each laugh, each exchange.
Ceremony
The wedding took place at the breathtaking Schloss Neuhardenberg, a castle nestled in serene parkland that, on this winter morning, looked like something out of a fairytale. It was the kind of setting that doesn’t just host a celebration, it becomes part of the story itself. The ceremony was held in a regal hall within the castle, where soft baby-blue walls, soaring arched windows, and ornate ceilings set the right magical atmosphere. Natural light poured in through the grand windows, illuminating every detail and creating a serene glow throughout the room.
The planner Vivian Anna and the Happily Ever After Berlin kept the decor thoughtfully minimal, allowing the beauty of the space to shine. Floral arrangements by Anna Görike, entirely in white, were placed with intention, echoing the bride’s bouquet. At the entrance, a translucent welcome sign framed with lush white blooms and surrounded by soft candlelight offered a warm greeting. The combination of classical architecture and gentle modern touches gave the ceremony a light, refined charm.
After the first look, the groom welcomed the guests to the civil ceremony, while Viktoria remained upstairs in the bridal suite, the anticipation building before her grand entrance. Before taking her seat, Viktoria paused to place a single white rose on a chair near her family, a quiet tribute to a loved one no longer present. The ring bearer, a dear friend and the very person who had introduced the couple, carried the rings with a smile and steady hands.
"All the guests agreed that one of the most magical moments of the day was when the doors opened, and the bride appeared in her dreamy dress. Illuminated by the sun, her gown sparkled in every direction — a truly unforgettable sight."
DFischer Wedding, the photographer
Right after exchanging their vows, the couple slipped away for a quiet moment and a private toast, before joining their loved ones for the celebration. Beaming with joy, the newlyweds stepped out hand in hand as guests lined the terrace, waving silk ribbons in a joyful guard of honor. It was a moment full of light and pure celebration, capturing the magic of the day.
Reception
The wedding cake by Lottas Torten was a true showstopper, an elegant three-tiered dessert decorated with delicate white sugar flowers that seemed to bloom right off the surface. The couple cut the cake together in a moment filled with smiles, surrounded by their guests. Alongside the cake, a thoughtful selection of pastries by Jubel Patisserie was offered, with both vegan and non-vegan options available, ensuring everyone could indulge in something delicious.
For the dinner guests were welcomed into the castle’s orangery, where the space was transformed with floral arrangements, soft candlelight, and fairy lights that danced across the tall windows, creating a magical and intimate setting. The tables were dressed in crisp white linen, with elegant place settings and menus nestled among lush white blooms and candles. Instead of a traditional seating chart, guests were guided by a playful shot wall. The escort display invited each person to “take a shot & take a seat”. One especially thoughtful touch: each guest found a personalized name tag in the form of a Polaroid photo.
Once everyone was seated, the couple opened the evening with a heartfelt speech, then ignited their shots, part of a fun tradition with the liquor, and toasted with their guests, who raised and drank their own shots in unison. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration.
As the evening shifted into a festive mode, the couple reappeared in dazzling new looks: the bride in a short, glittering dress by Olya Mak with a corset-style bodice, and the groom in black tuxedo pants, suspenders, a crisp white shirt, and a black glitter bowtie. One of the highlights was the champagne tower, an elegant cascade of crystal coupes brimming with golden bubbles. With cheers echoing around the room, the couple poured the first bottle together, champagne overflowing from glass to glass in a sparkling flow that set the tone for the night of endless dancing to the music set by DJ Hung Berlin.
As the night drew to a close, the couple stepped outside once more, this time into a tunnel of sparklers and cheers. Surrounded by glowing faces and golden sparks, they held each other close, their joy unmistakable. From soft winter light to candlelit tables, from heartfelt vows to laughter on the dance floor, every detail had come together beautifully. It was a wedding not just to remember, but to feel, warm, radiant, and full of heart.
