More and more couples are choosing weddings that reflect their unique stories and deeper connections. This styled shoot in Warsaw captures that shift beautifully, blending a sense of authenticity with timeless elegance. Set against the charming backdrop of the Palace on the Isle and followed by a cozy reception, this editorial highlights how stepping away from tradition can create a celebration that feels truly personal and memorable.
Inspiration Behind the Shoot
The concept stemmed from the idea of “authenticity over tradition”, a theme that resonated throughout every element of the project. Modern couples are moving away from conventional expectations and focusing on celebrations that genuinely reflect their personalities and unique love stories. The photographer and creative force behind the shoot, Patryk Francesco, captured the essence of this shift with a vision that focused on raw, unscripted moments, adding a touch of warmth through personalized details.
"The vision was to showcase a wedding style that embraces individuality. This meant abandoning the 'cookie-cutter' approach and highlighting elements that reflect the couple's true selves."
Patryk Francesco
Candid, slightly blurred frames conveyed the raw emotion of the day, allowing viewers to witness real, unfiltered moments. The choice of personalized stationery by Marcela Paterman gave the celebration a unique character. Every element was thoughtfully chosen to create a wedding that felt authentic and full of warmth.
Location
The Palace on the Isle in Warsaw’s Royal Łazienki set the perfect scene for this editorial. Originally built in the 17th century as a summer retreat for King Stanisław August, the palace blends classical architecture with tranquil water features and lush gardens. Its timeless charm and elegance brought a sense of grandeur to the shoot, adding depth and sophistication to every frame.
For the reception, Summer Studio Palace was the perfect follow-up to the ceremony. Its soft color palette, high ceilings, and natural light provided a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The space inspired creativity, making it easy to capture heartfelt and intimate moments that added to the timeless charm of the day.
"As the organizer of this styled shoot, I found the entire process to be both challenging and incredibly rewarding."

Fashion Choices
The bride’s look was so elegant. Her stunning gown by Ochocka Atelier was all about clean lines and a romantic silhouette that felt truly timeless. A delicate lace veil added a vintage touch, while minimal accessories, including baroque pearl earrings, gave her ensemble a refined yet understated charm.
Her makeup by Angelika Staniów enhanced her natural beauty with soft, neutral tones, while Staś Jasiński styled her hair into a classic updo that felt effortlessly chic. The bouquet’s unstructured shape, gaining popularity among modern brides, added a refreshing contrast to the classic style, making the bouquet feel unique.
The groom’s look, crafted by Dąbrowski & Góral, was equally polished. His classic double-breasted suit paired with a patterned tie and pocket square brought a perfect balance of sophistication and relaxed charm. Together, their fashion choices reflected timeless style with a touch of individuality, staying true to the theme of authenticity.
Artistic Frames
To add a unique personal touch, they even captured moments of each other, creating authentic, behind-the-scenes perspectives. Soft, natural light filtering through the palace windows enriched the images with warmth, enhancing the emotional depth and timeless beauty of the scene.
This session was less about portraying a traditional couple and more about bringing an artistic vision to life. Each shot, from the intricate details of the architecture to the quiet, thoughtful moments, captured the team’s talent for creating a story that felt genuine and full of warmth.
Decor and Details
The reception at Summer Studio Palace was where simplicity met understated charm. Crisp white tablecloths, flickering candlelight, and delicate floral touches created an inviting ambiance. The centerpiece was a classic cake by La Baguette Kraków, which perfectly complemented the aesthetic, becoming one of the visual and culinary highlights.
Dominika and Szymon Wilk infused creativity into the floral arrangements by mixing unexpected elements with organic textures. Cascading amaranth and fritillaria brought a whimsical charm, while cauliflower, broccoli, and clusters of grapes added a fresh, earthy twist. The drink bar, framed by lush greenery and delicate blooms, felt like a secret garden, adding to the organic elegance of the evening.

A sweet and savory table offered an indulgent spread of artisan bread, fresh oysters, and vibrant fruits, all artfully displayed on vintage silver trays with glassware that reflected timeless sophistication. The selection perfectly matched the mood of the shoot, adding a refined yet organic touch that smoothly harmonized with the overall aesthetic.
The drink station delighted guests with classic cocktails served in crystal-clear martini glasses, further enhancing the elegant, laid-back vibe.
Later, tall candles cast a dreamy glow over the intimate dinner. The gentle flicker of the flames danced across the floral arrangements, wrapping the entire space in warmth and romance. Every detail worked in harmony, bringing the editorial’s vision of authenticity and timeless charm to life.
Symphony of Passion and Skill
The success of this shoot was a testament to the incredible collaboration between talented creatives who shared a unified vision. Every contributor invested their heart and soul into the project, ensuring that each element reflected the theme of authenticity. Patryk Francesco’s ability to combine digital and film photography added layers of depth and emotion to the final images, making every moment feel timeless and authentic.
Kacper Krajewski, the content creator, and photographer’s assistants — Filip, Kamil, and Arek — also played a crucial role in ensuring that every detail was captured from multiple perspectives, adding richness and diversity to the final story.
“Every person working on this project invested 100%, if not more, of their skill and passion.” — shared Patryk.
When planning a wedding, it’s essential to focus on what truly resonates with your own story, rather than simply following traditions. Your wedding is a reflection of who you are, and this shoot perfectly captured an alternative and deeply personal way to celebrate your day.
"For me, this project was an incredible journey, and I'm immensely proud of the authentic and beautiful result we achieved together."
