Cynthia and Dustin, a dynamic duo aged 21 and 22, met in a study hall in 2017. Their friendship blossomed into a romantic connection in 2019. Fast-forward to September 22, 2023, when the couple celebrated their fourth dating anniversary and marriage union. Cynthia’s vibrant energy complements Dustin’s shy and reserved nature, creating a perfect harmony that constantly inspires them to be their best versions.
The charming town of Pala, CA, set the stage for their wedding at a Secluded Garden Estate, a mesmerizing outdoor woodsy getaway.
Cynthia’s wedding day look was a masterpiece crafted by her best friend, who skillfully executed soft glam makeup. Her mother-in-law’s best friend styled her hair in perfect curls throughout the night, making her feel like a princess. She emphasized feeling beautiful in her skin and staying true to herself.
Bride shares her memories: “When searching for my wedding dress, the five-month time crunch was tricky! Many place appointments were full or on back order so they wouldn’t arrive on time. It was a random Wednesday when my sister and I were driving back from Newport, OC, and she was calling every bridal shop to try to find us an appointment when Layah Bridal picked up the phone. She came to open the store just for us, and with only 30 minutes to try on it, I found the one. I ordered it that day, and by the following week, it was in my hands being altered!”
The tender moment when Cynthia’s father first saw her in the bridal attire was truly touching. Overwhelmed by emotion, tears flowed freely as he beheld the breathtaking beauty of his daughter.
Cynthia, radiant in her wedding dress with a terracotta-hued bouquet, epitomized elegance.
Dustin prepared for the wedding, and with his mother’s assistance, he adorned himself in a stylish three-piece wedding suit in mint green paired with a terracotta tie. This exquisite ensemble seamlessly complemented the overall wedding theme.
Cynthia and Dustin’s wedding was a tapestry of unique and personal moments. As “flower boys,” her two brothers, adorned with fanny packs, danced to the tune of “This Is How You Do It,” scattering rose petals, creating an unforgettable spectacle.
When Cynthia appeared with her father, everyone fell silent. Dustin couldn’t take his gaze away from his beautiful bride. As Cynthia reached the altar, her father lifted the veil, beginning a beautiful wedding ceremony. During this enchanting moment, Dustin and his beloved Cynthia exchanged vows of eternal love. Cynthia’s brother and sister sang during the communion, making this moment even more heartfelt.
Talented photographer Paula Richelle skillfully captured every nuanced emotion throughout the day. Paula’s artistry immortalized the couple’s love and the warmth of the day, from the father lifting the veil to the heartfelt vows and the post-ceremony portraits. As a result, photographs are not just images but timeless keepsakes that will allow Cynthia and Dustin to relive their special day repeatedly.
Cynthia drew inspiration for the wedding from the enchanting greenery of their venue and her love for Pinterest. The rustic theme with a color palette of orange, sage green, and cream set the tone for the celebration. DIY floral bouquets, centerpieces, and a creative seating chart added a personal touch. Ling’s Moments’ terracotta collection played a crucial role in shaping the décor, enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings.
“I had traveled abroad, and many of my friends flew in the week. They were some of the most significant help regarding all the decorations. My dad built the bookcase for our seating chart and art, and I wrote each of the names for the seating chart. It was so time-consuming but so worth it!” tells Cynthia.
The reception was a celebration of love and connection. The newlyweds made a grand entrance accompanied by friends, followed by an enchanting first dance to the live rendition of “At Last” from the best Cynthia’s friend Rachel Schumann.
The dance floor witnessed heartful moments with father-daughter and mother-son dances, leaving everyone touched.
The evening was filled with pleasant conversations as guests approached Cynthia and Dustin to congratulate them.
The highlight of the evening was when Dustin and Cynthia cut the wedding cake, following the beautiful wedding tradition, and then poured champagne into a stylish pyramid of glasses.
Cynthia meticulously planned every detail to infuse the wedding with personal and heartfelt moments. The evening ended with lively dances and joyful interactions, creating a vibrant atmosphere. A special surprise for the guests was a photo booth, allowing everyone to capture their memorable moments from Cynthia and Dustin’s wedding.
