Roberta and Luis first crossed paths during their freshman year at business school in Porto Alegre. She was a fashion major, he was diving into business, but shared classes brought them together. Their connection was instant, growing stronger over six years, until Luis popped the question during a dreamy boat ride in Dubai. Their wedding truly celebrated their journey and the life they were building together.
Luau & Pool Welcome Party
The festivities kicked off with a lively Luau and Pool Welcome Party, setting the tone for a weekend filled with joy and laughter. Guests arrived dressed in breezy, tropical attire, ready to soak up the beach vibes. Straw hats hung decoratively, adding a fun, laid-back touch, while vibrant baskets and fresh flowers brought color to the scene. This relaxed gathering allowed everyone to mingle, dance, and anticipate the beautiful ceremony to come.
Bridal Morning
Roberta embraced calm and simplicity. Her beauty routine was in the expert hands of Nandu Vieira, who crafted a natural, radiant look, while Claudio Silva styled her hair into a sleek, low bun. She held a simple bouquet of white daisies by Willfridy Mendonça, perfectly complementing her strapless Camila Fraga gown with its pleated skirt and hand-embroidered leaf detail on the veil. Her minimalist, stylish earrings drew particular attention, adding an elegant touch to her look.

Roberta’s bridesmaids wore an array of elegant gowns in soft earthy tones, with shades of green, blush, beige, and white, perfectly complementing the tropical backdrop. Ceremony
The ceremony took place at the breathtaking Saline Taíba Boutique Hotel, right by the ocean. This stunning location featured a floral arch of white roses, anthuriums, and daisies, with the ocean breeze adding charm. Roberta walked barefoot down the sandy aisle, choosing to forgo shoes for a natural touch.
A priest officiated the heartfelt ceremony as the couple saw each other for the first time at the altar, making the moment tender and emotional. Their vows moved everyone, and the ceremony ended with a kiss as they walked under rose petals, surrounded by loved ones.
The couple added a playful moment to their ceremony by sharing a cocktail together. The bar by Coktelitas Drinks, set right on the beach, allowed guests to raise a toast to the newlyweds while enjoying the ocean breeze. Private Moment
Before diving into the reception, Roberta and Luis stole a private moment together, captured beautifully by Pink Films. Switching seamlessly between black-and-white and color shots, the photographer captured every nuance of their love—from the soft smiles to the gentle touches.
The images reflect not just their love but also the intricate details of their surroundings, preserving the essence of their day with stunning clarity. The reception, beautifully planned and designed by Cerimonial Geovane, was a blend of chic design and natural beauty. White roses, anthuriums, and daisies were arranged with lush greenery, creating an elegant yet tropical feel. Wooden furniture added warmth, while the open-air setting allowed the night sky to be part of the ambiance.
The tables were adorned with cascading floral arrangements, and the dessert table was a visual feast of colorful treats surrounded by clouds of baby’s breath. The couple kicked off the evening with the White Napkin tradition, dancing to “Freed From Desire.”
A tattoo artist was part of the party, giving guests a chance to get inked as a fun keepsake. The newlyweds joined in, adding a spontaneous and memorable touch to the night.
Cake & Party
The highlight of the night was the cake-cutting ceremony, where Roberta and Luis shared a joyful, lighthearted moment, creating their own strawberry tart together. The sweet table by Antoinette Boutique Doces was an explosion of colors and textures—from delicate white confections to vibrant yellow and deep burgundy treats, beautifully displayed among lush baby’s breath and tropical florals. This delightful spread not only satisfied the guests’ sweet tooth but also served as a stunning centerpiece of the reception.
As the night progressed, the energy soared. The dance floor came alive with music from talented bands and DJs. A highlight was the live band performance, lighting up the night with vibrant blue and white stage lights, creating a festival-like atmosphere. A special acoustic performance added an intimate touch, with a guitarist serenading the crowd under the soft glow of the lights. The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts, capturing the spirit of celebration.
Advice from the couple:
• Hire a proactive wedding planner who anticipates every possible challenge. Our wedding was in April, a rainy season in Ceará, but our team prepared a structure just in case. When the rain came, it didn’t stop the celebration — the protective cover kept the party going without a hitch.
