Bathed in the warm hues of the sun, Jenna and Jackson welcomed their family and friends to Villa Teloni, a stunning gem tucked away in Italy’s Marche region. Their wedding was effortlessly elegant, deeply personal, and filled with the kind of timeless charm that never goes out of style. Captured beautifully by Nina Wernicke, every moment of the day carried an air of authenticity and sophistication.
Location: San Severino, Marche, Italy
Style: Authentic, Romantic, Classic
Time of planning: 12 months
Number of guests: 62
Setting: Villa
Season: Fall
Jenna and Jackson’s journey began in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, when they first met through mutual friends. What started as a casual outdoor run soon blossomed into a deep friendship, with countless hours spent together. The turning point came when a friend suggested Jenna set Jackson up with her sister, and a sudden pang of jealousy made her realize her true feelings.
The proposal was just as magical as their story. While taking an eight-month trip across Central and South America, Jackson planned the perfect moment. After a day of tropical adventures in a secluded rainforest retreat in Panama, he got down on one knee and asked Jenna to be his forever. She had imagined the proposal happening months later in Germany, even purchasing a red dress for the occasion, but life had its own plans.
Bridal Morning
Jenna’s morning began in the peaceful embrace of the historic villa. She chose an off-the-shoulder lace gown by Steven Khalil, a design that felt destined for her the moment she first saw it. The intricate lacework and structured bodice highlighted her timeless aesthetic. A flowing veil from the same designer cascaded behind her, completing the ethereal look. She accessorized with Schutz & Lana Wilkinson shoes, a Simone Rocha heart-shaped bag, and delicate Camdons Broome pearl earrings. Her bouquet by Valentina Cava and Valentina Scuriatti, a delicate arrangement of baby’s breath and white roses, perfectly complemented the soft, romantic aesthetic of the day.
For her beauty, Jenna wanted an enhanced version of herself. Her makeup artist Hanna Pas from BLBS Management created a look centered around warm, peachy tones, while her hair was styled in soft waves, an effortless yet elegant choice that highlighted the intricate neckline of her dress. “I really wanted to show off the neckline of my wedding dress and drew on the wedding hair looks of Aime Bakewell, Vera Fursova, and Lauren Kyle.” shared the bride.
Later in the evening, she changed into a playful Aston Bridal mini dress, a chic, structured piece featuring a statement bow—a detail that subtly echoed the bow accents woven throughout the wedding design. “I have always been obsessed with bows!” shared the bride. The fresh, fun look was perfect for dancing the night away.
Groom's Fashion
Jackson embodied classic elegance in a custom black Institchu suit, paired with a crisp white shirt and a black bow tie. His polished Aquila shoes and a timeless TAG Heuer watch added the finishing touches. To make the morning even more meaningful, his mother gifted him and his brothers Georg Jensen bracelets, a gesture that kicked off the day with warmth and sentiment, setting the tone for everything that followed.
Ceremony
Nestled among the trees of Villa Teloni, the ceremony space felt intimate and naturally beautiful. Two floral pillars adorned with baby’s breath, white roses, anthurium, and gypsophila framed the altar, complementing the beauty of the venue. Guests found their seats, adorned with delicate white bows, while a pianist and violinist filled the air with soft melodies. “We didn’t have to do much as the venue and scenery spoke for itself,” shared the bride.
Jenna’s sister officiated the ceremony, making it an intimate and deeply personal moment. Instead of a traditional wedding party, the couple chose to stand alone at the altar, emphasizing their love story. Jenna walked down the aisle to “Only Time” by Enya with her father by her side, and only then did Jackson finally see her. His expression said it all—pure emotion and happiness in that unforgettable moment.
When they exchanged vows, the guests weren’t dry eyed. “Jackson’s personalised vows were so heartfelt, and I know a lot of thought, time, and effort went into preparing them. Jackson is a very private person, so witnessing how vulnerable he was in front of our family and friends was beautiful and a really special moment,” shared the bride.
Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into the poolside aperitivo hour, where champagne and spritze flowed freely. Live music created a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, setting the tone for the evening. Multiple food stations offered fresh Italian delicacies, allowing guests to mingle and soak in the stunning surroundings.
"Jackson and I made sure we were able to join, and it was such a beautiful moment to greet guests after the ceremony."

Private Moment
Before heading to the reception, Jenna and Jackson took a quiet moment together, enjoying the rolling hills as the sun began to set. Driving through the vineyards in a vintage convertible, they soaked in the peaceful countryside. To make this moment even more stylish, they had chosen special accessories in advance, adding a subtle fashion-forward touch to their private getaway.
It was here that Nina Wernicke worked her magic, capturing the essence of their love with striking imagery. The play of light, the backdrop of endless greenery, and the raw emotion between them resulted in some of the most breathtaking photos of the day. These timeless portraits will forever serve as a reminder of the love they celebrated in the heart of Italy.
"It was one of the unforgettable moments of the day!"
The newlyweds
Decor & Dinner
The reception took place in the estate’s historic limonaia, a space wrapped in a grove of mature lemon trees. String lights and candlelit tables created a warm, intimate glow. The floral arrangements, designed by Valentina Cava and Valentina Scuriatti, featured the same crisp white blooms and greenery, seamlessly blending into the natural setting.
One of the standout design elements was their stationery by TAWO Studio, which brought a modern yet playful edge to the seating chart and menu. Each guest also received a bottle of limoncello, a thoughtful nod to the Italian setting.
Cake & Party
For dessert, the couple chose a Mille Feuille wedding cake by Profumi E Sapori covered in fresh raspberries, a showstopping treat that left no leftovers—an impressive feat for any wedding cake. A dessert station and digestif bar kept guests enjoying sweet treats long after the cake cutting.
The celebration continued under the stars, with no designated dance floor—just an impromptu space next to the dining area. As the music played, laughter and dancing filled the night, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display, an unexpected and unforgettable moment for everyone.
Even during the lively celebration, the photographer managed to steal the couple away for a few stunning flash-lit portraits inside the villa. The intimate, stylish shots perfectly captured the mood of the night—romantic, effortless, and full of joy.
Advice from the couple:
• Be mindful of logistics and costs. Destination weddings come with time zone differences, language barriers, and cultural nuances, so staying organized is essential to avoid unnecessary stress.
• Embrace the local pace. Some countries, especially in Europe, operate at a more relaxed speed. Accepting this can make the planning process smoother and more enjoyable.
• Have a clear vision and priorities. Identify your must-haves early on, but remain flexible, as some details may need to be adjusted along the way.
• Book key vendors early.
• Consider a wedding planner.
• Enjoy the day. Once the planning is done, focus on what truly matters—celebrating your love and embracing every moment.
