With a vision of romance, elegance, and a touch of glamour, makeup artist Veronica Dragomir curated every detail of this dreamy session, bringing together a talented team of creatives.
The shoot’s setting, Villa Borghese, is a masterpiece of art and nature in the heart of Rome. This historical park, with its Neoclassical and Baroque sculptures, Italian gardens, and winding walkways, provided the perfect backdrop for an intimate and romantic elopement. Surrounded by centuries-old trees and peaceful fountains, the couple’s moments felt timeless, blending seamlessly into the Eternal City’s grandeur.
Veronica drew inspiration from her collaboration with Polina Bushkova at a Turkish wedding. Already familiar with the model, Ioana Tanase, she envisioned a romantic, slightly forbidden narrative brought to life with Ioana’s natural elegance and charm. Paired with Mario, the chemistry between the models radiated authenticity.

The bride showcased two exquisite dresses. The first, a lace gown by Maggie Sottero, embodied timeless sophistication with its structured fit and intricate detailing. Her second dress, a sleek and modern creation by Katya Bushkova, added a contemporary flair to the shoot. Styled with vintage jewelry and a tulip bouquet, these choices reflected a refined yet approachable elegance.
The groom’s attire was kept simple yet sharp, perfectly complementing the bride. A crisp white shirt paired with tailored black trousers allowed Mario’s natural charm to shine while keeping the focus on the couple’s connection.
Veronica’s makeup artistry played a pivotal role in the shoot’s cohesive vision. She opted for a natural yet radiant look, enhancing Ioana’s beauty with soft, dewy skin and subtle contouring. The makeup was balanced by a soft, romantic lip color that paired harmoniously with Ioana’s glowing skin.
