A Vibrant Love in Full Color

Featured Members:

This editorial shoot was inspired by a bold vision: to create a vibrant, modern, and slightly playful design that would blend with the elegant waterfront charm of the Inn at Perry Cabin. The color palette began with chartreuse and hot pink as the foundation but quickly blossomed into a kaleidoscope of fuchsia, orange, yellow, and purple. Every detail, from the striking floral arrangements to the dynamic tablescape, embodied a fresh, contemporary take on wedding style while honoring the timeless beauty of the venue.

The magic of this shoot was captured by the incredibly talented Manda Weaver Photography. Known for her ability to bring every detail to life, she captured both the vibrancy of the design and the softer, more intimate moments. Her eye for composition and lighting infused each frame with a timeless elegance, making every shot a true work of art. From wide-angle shots of the stunning waterfront to close-ups of the colorful details, her photography perfectly reflected the energy and sophistication of the shoot.

This editorial shoot will inspire couples who want to break away from traditional wedding aesthetics. Whether you’re dreaming of a lively outdoor ceremony, a cocktail hour filled with unique touches, or a reception brimming with personality, this shoot offers endless ideas for creating a celebration that feels as unique and unforgettable as your love story.

The Location

The entire shoot took place on a sunny day at the Inn at Perry Cabin, the ideal location for this picturesque event. With its stunning waterfront views and versatile spaces, this venue is perfect for weddings, offering breathtaking scenery for outdoor ceremonies that feel straight out of a dream.

The Fashion

Even with the bold color palette, the bridal look remained effortlessly modern and chic. The petite white bouquet, featuring painted anthuriums, tied perfectly into the vibrant overall design. The bride wore two stunning looks: a sleek silk dress with a thigh-high slit paired with a bridal scarf and sunglasses for a stylish cocktail hour and a dreamy strapless gown with cascading tulle for the evening, giving the illusion of floating on a cloud. Her hair was styled in a sleek low bun, and her makeup was kept fresh and natural, subtly enhancing her eyes and lips for an elegant yet effortless vibe.

Each look was thoughtfully chosen to complement the groom’s suit while beautifully capturing the bride’s romantic personality.

The Ceremony

The ceremony setting beautifully blended all the vibrant colors with a stunning asymmetrical arch display overlooking the water. Bright, cheerful florals framed the start of the aisle, creating a cascading effect of cotton candy-like blooms in a fresh, modern color palette. The scene was magical, with sailboats gently gliding in the background.

The Magical Golden Hour

The cocktail hour was a burst of color and creativity, set on the croquet lawn surrounded by charming wildflower gardens. A vibrant violet bar became the centerpiece, while an Aperol Spritz cart doubled as a unique and playful seating chart, adding a touch of whimsy to the lively atmosphere.

The couple spent a leisurely afternoon playing croquet, sipping Aperol under the warm sun, and enjoying each other’s company before heading into the vibrant reception.

The Vibrant Reception

The reception setting was vibrant and visually stunning, perfectly capturing the shoot’s bold and playful theme. Nuage Designs provided luxurious satin linens for the striking 20-foot color-blocked caterpillar table, creating a vibrant foundation for the design. Something Vintage added a whimsical touch with their colorful floral napkins, tying the entire look together seamlessly.

The florals by Love Blooms, thoughtfully coordinated with the linen colors, wove their way across the table in a lush, cascading display of hydrangeas, roses, ranunculus, anthuriums, dahlias, and a variety of other vibrant local blooms, creating a truly picture-perfect scene.

The Warm Boat Ride

Before setting sail, the couple enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the waterfront, taking in the breathtaking views.

The couple set sail on the Inn’s 40-foot Friendship sailboat as golden hour bathed the waterfront in warm light. The sky transformed into a dreamy shade of pink, casting a magical glow over the newlyweds as they sailed into the sunset—quite literally—a picture-perfect ending to their unforgettable day.
