Inspired by the venue’s historic architecture, ornate wallpapers, and the luxurious feel of a black-tie gathering, this shoot blends classic refinement with a touch of modern artistry. The concept was aptly named Gilded Reverie, capturing both the meticulous details of the historic home and the joy of gathering in celebration. Chaise Tinsley of Helaine envisioned photographing the editorial in a way that felt timeless, like an heirloom. Her images, radiant with light and color, were crafted to endure through the decades—much like the home itself. By blending digital, film, and instant film, she brought an energy and warmth that softened the formal setting, creating a collection of moments that feel both alive and enduring.
The Vision & Location
This stunning family-owned farm perfectly captures an idyllic landscape and timeless design, offering the ideal backdrop for a “classic meets luxe” couple. The team sought to bring new life to a location that had never been photographed for a wedding, allowing its historic charm to shine. With its elaborate furniture, patterned wallpapers, and ornate architecture, the home already had so much character. For couples, it’s a reminder of how foundational a venue can be in shaping their day’s aesthetic. They aimed to enhance the space without altering its essence, letting it take center stage in the creative direction as a true main character.

The team drew inspiration from a touch of Bridgerton, blending with the timeless elegance of black-tie garden parties that couples adore. Scheduling the shoot in early summer allowed them to explore both spring and summer palettes, perfectly complementing the venue’s classic architecture.
89th & Autumn created scenes bursting with local blooms, dynamic movement, and rich textures. The estate table overflowed with lush florals, mixed materials, and personalized menus featuring a pop of Southern blue. The formal dining room, wrapped in their favorite wallpaper, created a stunning backdrop for an intimate dinner, capturing the room’s original charm. Adding a playful twist, a quirky green cake adorned with blue bows brought a fresh touch and carried the color theme seamlessly through the design.
The team hopes couples feel unafraid to choose something unexpected. For them, it was discovering a hidden gem in pastoral America, where rooms were filled with floral walls and forgotten details around every corner. They encourage couples to embrace bold, maximal spaces paired with minimal details, creating a theme that feels balanced and uniquely theirs.
