Style: Sophisticated, festival, chic
Time of planning: 10 months
Number of guests: 70
Setting: Farm
Season: Winter
Ebony and Adam’s love story is one of serendipity. Both originally from Australia, they only crossed paths when Ebony moved to New York, where Adam had already established his life. Just one week after Ebony’s arrival, they met at an event. The chemistry was undeniable, and they quickly became inseparable. Their relationship blossomed over the years, filled with adventures across the globe, culminating in a romantic boat proposal.
That moment marked the beginning of their next chapter, leading them to an unforgettable wedding day in Mexico.
Location & Planning
Flora Farms was the ideal choice for this wedding — a lush, organic farm nestled in the heart of San José del Cabo. Its natural beauty provided the perfect backdrop for the intimate ceremony and the lively reception, with 70 of their closest friends and family in attendance. After ten months of careful planning, the day perfectly captured Ebony and Adam’s unique style and vision.
Bridal Morning
On the wedding morning, Ebony radiated classic beauty in a minimalist gown that highlighted her natural elegance. She wore a delicate lace top for the ceremony, which she later removed to reveal a modern look for the reception.
Her makeup by Los Cabos Makeup was soft and natural, enhancing her look, while her hair was styled in a chic, sleek updo.
A flowing veil added a romantic touch, and her bouquet of white roses, orchids, and lisianthus perfectly complemented her graceful bridal style.
Groom's Fashion
Adam matched Ebony’s elegance in a classic black tuxedo paired with a black bow tie, emphasizing his sophisticated and understated style. His boutonniere featured a white flower, echoing the bride’s bouquet, adding a harmonious touch to their coordinated looks. His attire perfectly complemented the wedding’s blend of tradition and elegance.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place under a beautifully adorned canopy, the chuppah, a traditional Jewish wedding symbol representing the home the couple will build together. The structure was elegantly draped with white florals, including roses symbolizing purity and love, complemented by lush greenery that gave the setup a natural yet refined feel.
The aisle, lined with delicate white petals, led gracefully to the chuppah, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere against palm trees and the open sky.
The couple embraced several meaningful Jewish traditions throughout the ceremony, infusing the day with cultural depth. Adam and the male guests wore matching kippots, handed out before the ceremony, uniting them in a shared style.
One of the most poignant moments was when Ebony circled Adam seven times under the chuppah, a sacred act symbolizing protection, completeness, and the joining of their lives. The couple then shared a sip of wine from a ceremonial cup, celebrating the sweetness of their commitment.
The emotional heart of the ceremony was further enhanced by the sound of a shofar, a traditional ram’s horn, blown to mark the significance of their union. These deeply emotional and personal touches made this moment truly unforgettable.
"This couple was crazy in love; you could see it on their faces every time you looked at them. I would say that their vows and speeches were the most memorable and enjoyable moments of the night."

Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed signature drinks during the cocktail hour, mingling in the charming open-air spaces of Flora Farms. The bar area was a visual highlight, adorned with lush greenery and bright blooms, adding to the fresh and modern aesthetic.
Stylish lounge areas with cozy seating and plush pillows invited guests to kick back and enjoy the atmosphere. The playful yet elegant atmosphere set the perfect tone for what was to come, as the guests anticipated the more informal and lively second half of the celebration.
Private Moment
During cocktail hour, Ebony and Adam shared a private moment away from the crowd, basking in the quiet serenity of the farm. As they exchanged thoughts, they reflected on the journey that had brought them to this day. This peaceful break allowed them to pause and savor the overwhelming emotions before rejoining their guests for the festivities.
Photographer AH Lovestories perfectly captured the tender moments between the newlyweds. Her ability to highlight the genuine emotions and joy of the day brings each photo to life, creating timeless images that will forever remind the couple of their beautiful day.
Decor & Setting
The reception design featured beautiful Mexican Talavera vases filled with soft white blooms in a delicate blue and white palette. The tables were set with intricate blue and white dishware, and the menus reflected the same color scheme, tying the entire look together seamlessly.
Overhead string lights added an extra layer of enchantment as they twinkled gently above the guests. Even the palm trees were adorned with shimmering lights, amplifying the romantic and dreamy vibe of the evening. The soft glow of candles beautifully enhanced the decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The team at Amy Abbott Events brought the couple’s vision to life with incredible precision and creativity. Their thoughtful approach to every detail — from the coordinated color palette to the carefully crafted layout — ensured that the setting felt stunning and deeply personal.
Reception & Party
Ebony and Adam’s first dance, set to “You Send Me” by Aretha Franklin, was a standout moment of the evening. Surrounded by their loved ones, they swayed to the soulful melody, a perfect expression of their deep connection.
Later, the couple entertained their guests by decorating their wedding cake by Knockoutdessert together, playfully using strawberries to create a special moment filled with fun and smiles.
As the night continued, the atmosphere shifted to a lively festival-like celebration. Neon signs, vibrant florals, and upbeat music filled the air. In a nod to their Jewish heritage, the couple embraced traditions like flower crowns, dances, and jump ropes. The hora dance brought everyone together, with the bride and groom lifted high on chairs, surrounded by cheering guests.
"As a planner, it was a pleasure and an honor to see how much the guests enjoyed themselves. During the dancing time, no one was sitting down; everyone participated in the happenings, and you could see the happiness on their faces. It was definitely a memorable night."
