Natasha and Liam met seven years ago at a nightclub in the UK. At the time, they both enjoyed the party lifestyle and regularly went out. On one fateful night, Natasha spotted Liam on the dance floor and grabbed his arm to get his attention. At first sight, Liam fell for Natasha, thinking, “She looks like an angel.” They connected immediately, and by the night’s end, they knew it was the start of something special.
Liam proposed to Natasha at the Anchorage in Port Stephens in December 2019. As the sun set, the couple strolled by the water, and Liam got on one knee. The rest was history; the wedding preparations began, resulting in this lovely event.

Wedding Fashion
Natasha wore a stunning long Harlow Dress from Made with Love Bridal. The long train of the dress looked extremely romantic, the patterned floral applications with beading added a sophisticated texture and the elegant and classy cut complimented Natasha’s figure. The Andie Bow platforms by Sophia Webster added playfulness to the style.
The bride chose gold jewelry by Sarah and Sebastian, and a statement gold watch to accessorize the look. The vanilla scent of Goddess by Burberry finished Natasha’s fashion.
"We have a beautiful daughter, Harriette, who was 13 months old when we married. She was our wonderful flower girl."
Liam opted for a classic and formal look. The Ferrari Formalwear suit made the groom look sharp. He finished his look with a timeless bowtie and a pair of lacquer boots by RM Williams, feeling handsome and confident.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at the Rock Cathedral at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. The bushy floral arch was placed among the rocks and trees in a naturally intimate and captivating setting. The arch was decorated with long white drapes that flowed to the scene. The white fabric created a beautiful contrast with lush and colorful floral arrangements. The saturated red, pink, purple, orange, and green tones of the bushy decor beautifully stood out in the strict landscape of the valley.
The ceremony featured a lot of personal moments, letting Natasha and Liam’s personalities shine. The couple’s self-written vows touched everyone, and the knot-tying ceremony symbolized the beginning of a new unity.
“All the guests said it was a perfect ceremony with joy, laughter, and tear-jerking moments. Our toddler was clapping halfway through so we paused so we could all clap with her, it was so cute!”
Moment Alone
As the celebration continued, Natasha and Liam stole away for a brief but beautiful moment alone. Just as the sun dipped behind the mountains, they ventured to the rocks overlooking the valley, embracing the peacefulness of the scene.
The tranquility was interrupted by an unexpected rainstorm, but instead of rushing inside, the two ran hand in hand under umbrellas, laughing as they found shelter together.
Later, as the rain cleared and the sky began to glow with the sunset, they returned to the cliffs with Kristie Carrick to capture breathtaking, dramatic photos against the stunning backdrop. The golden light and the serene valley below made for unforgettable images that truly showcased the magic of the moment.
Reception Decor
For the reception, Natasha and Liam’s vision of a summery, botanical garden party came to life through a stunning arrangement of bright florals and soft candlelight. The long wooden tables were adorned with pink and peach-toned roses in minimalistic vases, surrounded by pastel-colored taper candles that added a warm glow to the evening.
Personalized touches, such as mini Bonne Maman jam jars for each guest and the custom stationery Natasha designed, tied the entire setting together. The open, airy space, surrounded by nature, offered a seamless blend of elegance and relaxed charm, perfectly reflecting the couple’s Australian-meets-British inspiration.
Dinnner & Party
The reception kicked off with lively energy as the bridal party made their entrance to “Fireball” by Pitbull, carrying trays of fireball shots to get the party started. Natasha and Liam followed, entering to “This Girl” by Kungs, a song that holds a special place in their hearts from the night they first met. Guests were in high spirits, waving pink handkerchiefs in the air.
After the guests enjoyed their dinner, heartfelt speeches were shared by Natasha’s father, the groom, and several members of the bridal party, each one bringing moments of laughter and happy tears.
After their romantic first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Kina Grannis, from their favorite movie, Crazy Rich Asians, Natasha and Liam cut their delicious strawberry watermelon cake from Black Star Pastry.
As the night unfolded, Natasha slipped into her second dress—a fun and flirty mini from Aje—perfect for hitting the dance floor. Guests were given heart-shaped sunglasses, adding a playful vibe to the evening, and the DJ kept the party going with an energetic playlist that had everyone on their feet. The laughter and dancing continued late into the night, with the newlyweds stealing a few more kisses on the dance floor, surrounded by their family and friends. It was the perfect high-energy ending to a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments.
Advice from the couple:
• Planning our wedding was both thrilling and challenging as we took on most tasks. Setting a budget and timeline kept us organized. Finding the perfect venue and choosing a theme early on helped create a cohesive vision. Handling details like the guest list and invitations personally ensured everything was just right and fit the theme perfectly. Early dress shopping allowed for fittings, while focusing on flowers, music, and decorations added personal touches. Weprepared for the unexpected and stayed flexible throughout. Just remember not everything always goes to plan so don’t sweat the little stuff. Just take a breath and find the silver lining – there always is one! Self-care was crucial for enjoying the process, and we learnt how to relinquish some control, especially on the big day, we delegated tasks to focus on celebrating our love with family and friends.
